I am frequently asked what a tree walker is and what TreeWalker Designs is.

Well, simply put, a tree walker is someone who takes part in walking in areas that have trees, i.e. nature walks, hiking, mountain climbing, etc. I am, therefore, a tree walker. TreeWalker designs is my freelance graphic design business. I treewalk for fun and inspiration and I design as a profession and a passion.

Tree - n. 1. a plant having a permanently woody main stem or trunk, ordinarily growing to a considerable height, and usually developing branches at some distance from the ground. 2. any of various shrubs, bushes, and plants, as the banana, resembling a tree in form and size.

Walking - n. the act or action of a person or thing that walks: Walking was the best exercise for him.

TreeWalking - n. the act or action of a person, or thing, that walks among plants that have permanently woody main stems or trunks, ordinarily growing to a considerable height and usually developing branches at some variable distance from the ground and in generally close proximity to one another.

TreeWalker - n. a person who practices TreeWalking to some degree of regularity. The most frequent purpose for walking among trees is for exercise, to experience the calming, peaceful, re-energizing qualities of being around nature, or to observe and experience the varying species of trees and animals that make their homes among these trees and their environs.
