This project was inspired by a professor who had brought up the topic of a printing company that catered to students and artists looking to produce their portfolios. I was intrigued enough by the concept that I explored and expanded on the idea. I had written a business plan for PresentThis! a company that offers full portfolio and presentation consultation services and products for students and companies in need of professional presentations.
PresentThis! offers a one-stop-shop experience that clears away all of the hassels and headaches that cause design students and artists excessive anxieties as they produce their portfolios. In the world without PresentThis! design students must spend literally hundreds of hours scouring and searching and researching vendors of portfolio covers, jackets, presentation books, boxes, materials, papers, bindings, printers, model-makers, illustrators, photographers, label makers, CD/DVD burners, silkscreeners, letterpresses, and the list goes endlessly on all in the quest for the look that they want/need for their final books to get them that ideal job. PresentThis! staff members do all of this research, they find the latest technologies, techniques, styles, treatments, and finishes and maintain a full list of vendors who supply these materials. PresentThis! keeps an extensive inventory of the most sought after presentation offerings. Customers can meet with consultants to discuss ideas, brainstorm, inspire and dream of that perfect look and then the consultants go to every effort to help create that look perfectly.
Part of the PresentThis! identity process was the creation of a promotional poster that would be mounted in the various schools offering majors in graphic design, photography, interior design, game art, media arts, in fact, any artistic major that requires a body of work to present to clients or potential employers.
A luggage tag that would be attached to all finished presentations.
